Public Comment Format
The Humphries Elementary School GO Team invites parents, staff, and community members to share feedback through a structured public commentary process. To speak, individuals must sign up at least 24 hours before the scheduled GO Team meeting by emailing the GO Team Chair, Ms. Simmone Wright, at Simmone.Wright@apsk12.org. Each approved speaker will have up to three minutes to deliver comments at the end of the designated meeting.

Our mission is to provide all students with foundational preparation for college and career readiness by working collaboratively with all stakeholders.
Vision
Our vision is to develop critical thinkers and active learners who will become future leaders.
Goal #1
By 2030 48% of 3rd grade students will score proficient and above in ELA section of the GA Milestones Assessment.
Goal #2
By 2030 50% of 3rd-5th grade students will score proficient and above on the math secton of the GA Milstones Assessment.
Goal #3
By 2030, 80% of students enrolled at Huphries will not be chronically absent.
We Are Strengthening Our Instructional Core
- Increase the percentage of students achieving proficient and distinguished levels on the Georgia Milestones.
We Are Caring For Every Child
- Reduce Barriers to school attendance and decrease chronic absenteeism.
We Are Sparking Student Curiosity
- Continue the STEM Engineering and Design program model that has led to obtaining STEM school certification.
Our Strength is Our Team
- Build Teacher Capacity in core areas, particularly reading, math, and science.
Our Responsibility Is Shared
- 70% favorable responses to "Supporting Student Success" (Family Engagement Survey)
Our School Is Efficient & Effective
- 80% of students chose "very safe" or "extremely safe" for location questions on the GA Health Survey. (ES)
